Most neck lifts are limited to tightening the skin. This can lead to a pulled look. A deep plane neck lift addresses the platysma muscle (the muscle layer) rather than just the skin. Your neck will have a natural appearance as if you are resting.
The primary focus of this procedure is not skin tightening but rather repositioning the muscles or tissue underneath. It is these deeper structures that maintain their shape for years beyond when surface treatments no longer provide results.
